A lot of NOLO books are good, this one is excellent. It provides a well laid out, informed guide to producing a strong special needs trust for your child. The majority will set up a trust with an attorney, but should get this book anyway. It provides assurance that all your bases are covered and provides a great outline for developing your trust. It raises many of the issues you will face, provides case law with indepth answers to common questions, and will give you insight on what to expect and what to ask for, when you meet with your attorney. It also provide templates to set up a Special Needs Trust yourself.
